Sample magazine layout
Background:
Washington Monthly is a proposed statewide monthly news magazine with varied topics of interest from all over the northwest with a focus on energetic and interesting graphics and stories which draw in the reader, similar to inspired by the impressive success of Texas monthly.
Problem:
The project required creation of a sample magazine which would be used to obtain startup capital and establish the magazine’s visual style and content identity for future issues.
Solution:
Using provided copy, I created a 12 page sample of Washington Monthly’s new visual style focused creating contrast and restrained spectacle which amplifies the only magazine’s written content.
